Lona was called to the Bar of England and Wales and then worked in the Children and Family department of  a North London’s firm for  8 years. She joined the Care and Adoption Team of Farrell Matthews and Weir in July 2006.

 Lona has Higher Courts Rights of Audience in All Proceedings and is a member of the Children Panel and the Association of Lawyers for children. She undertakes work in respect of Children and Family work within private and public law proceedings.
